Wildcrafting - Red Clover - Uses and Recipes

Hello there! Welcome! I want to introduce you to one of my favorite naturally gathered flowers. Red clover, an abundant plant found in many meadow or field-type areas, is a great wildcrafted goodie! This plant is native to Europe, Western Asia and northwest Africa but has been introduced to many other areas of the world. Here in the U.S. it is readily seen during the spring/summer months.

Easy Ointment or Salve Base Recipe

Hiya! Welcome! I want to share my easy ointment or salve base you can change and fit to however you see fit.   

What you will need:

•  A microwave or heat source
• Some heat-resistant bowls or glassware. I like Pyrex measuring cups
• Spoon
• Grater
• Beeswax
• Herb infused oil 
• Dried herbs or essential oils (optional)
• Clean containers (I recommend glass and tin over plastic, but use what you want)
• Vitamin e or rosehip oil (optional)

Now before you get excited and ready to make this, you may have to wait. For the best results, you are going to need some infused oil. This is really easy to make, and you can do it two ways. Go HERE to see how I make my infused oils.
